Stopped by on a Saturday night for some doubles, which came out in less than 5 minutes. At $2 each, these doubles are a complete steal. Absolutely delicious, especially with the tamarind sauce, and big enough to stretch two for a meal or three if you're hungry. The location is cash only and takeout only. Highly looking forward to my next visit.

If want a genuine taste from Trinidad, check this place out. Very clean and well organized. Food tasted just like the Ali's from southern Trinidad. Will continue to visit.

Ali's has the best roti in my opinion. I've been coming here years and now the inside is spacious and bright. There is always a long line inside to order and pick up. Make sure to study the menu, because once it's your turn, you have to know what you want. I always get the curry goat and boneless chicken for my partner. Both are really good, but if you like goat and don't mind the bones, get the goat. The roti is so delicious with all the flakey chickpeas falling off of it. The roti soaks up the curry and it's so yummy. Parking is difficult on the busy street.

This is one of those weird reviews where I still enjoy the food but I think it was better pre renovation. In the past I would and did stand on line for their exceptional doubles and rotis. Now it's good. The service has certainly improved 1000% percent. It's a cash only establishment. Since I went close to closing the line wasn't insane. I ordered the curry goat, pumpkin bust up on the side, extra hot sauce and tamarind and a side of polorri

I've been eyeing this place since the summer, and overall, it did not disappoint! My guy and I placed an order beforehand and then did a pick up, unless you have an hour to spare, I don't recommend walking in. My favorite dishes were the doubles, chicken curry roti, and veggie roti! I did not enjoy the conch, a bit too chewy for my taste.

Num num num! They felt like working. That food was flavorful and yummyyyy. The service was kind, polite, and welcoming. I am happy this location is bigger and spacious for ppl to stand around to wait on their food. I had a vegetable buss up and two doubles w tamarind sauce and pepper sauce. Yum. 10/10

I upgraded this place from 3 stars to 4 because of the service. You often don't hear "oh, that Trini shop had damn good service, the cashier was friendly, the owner held it down". The line was divided into two sections-order and pay (CASH ONLY-there's an ATM inside don't panic). The line was long but ran smoothly and efficiently and with great simplicity. Me: "Hey! Let me get two doubles, spicy with tamarind and two tings" Cashier: "Tings? Yah wan' green or pink?" I thought that was hilarious. Food was good (even tho they forgot to spice my doubles) and my Tings were icy cold and the cashier divided the food and drink in separate bags bc "Nah wan' no cold food!" I loved that... I love Brooklyn! Go here!!
